GeoOP (Geo Operations) is the result of a unique combination of situation, events and a shared vision of the founders Nick and Ben. This included a love of the powerful iPhone, location based apps and SaaS business products. Each and every one of these technologies is transformative in their own right but Nick and Ben couldn’t help but wonder what they could achieve in unison. As you can probably guess, the epiphany was GeoOP.

GeoOP is a powerful, zero barrier to entry product which is used by many companies around the world, including trades, couriers, tow truck drivers, maintenance, services, freight, legal, book keepers, pet feeders... and even medical. These companies use GeoOP as it provides an effortless solution to manage their mobile workers and their workflow for a fraction of the cost of manual systems. Other systems may be able to do some of what GeoOP does but only big corporates with very deep pockets have had the time and money to invest in the proprietary hardware and software needed to make it all work.

GeoOP rewrites the rule book completely and now the small guy can have the tools needed to grow, save time and ultimately be more profitable. And the big guys can have the same to! 

Nicholas Bartlett - Co-Founder and CEO

Nick has completed degrees in accounting and property from the University of Auckland. Nick is the CEO as well as the Australian territory manager having recently relocated to Melbourne. Nick manages all the financial and legal aspects of the company and works with the whole team to co-ordinate and ultimately execute the company's growth strategy.

Will Roffé  -  Marketing Manager

Will was an Axis AdSchool graduate in 1992 and has worked in advertising agencies as a writer, creative director and executive creative director, as well as client side as Marketing Manager throughout Australasia for the past 20 years. He is an early adopter with a strong interest in technology, mobile and the Internet. Will is responsible for the marketing of our products and services and also handles external communications with media.

Brendan Cervin - Technical Director

Brendan has a Bachelor of Engineering in Software from the University of Auckland. Work with Telstraclear and the Royal New Zealand Navy focused on web development and GIS mapping. Since founding Icepick Communications work has focused on web application products. Key responsibilities include software specification based on client requirements, rich user interface design, web development, mapping, network and software system architecture.

Simon Fraser - Development Manager

Simon has a BCom and DipGrAD in Marketing from Otago. He has worked in internet design and development for the last 15 years, and was a shareholder and director of Clearview Communications, where he was the development manager. Simon spent some time as the internet development manager for Telstraclear before founding Icepick Communications along with Brendan Cervin in 2006. He is particularly interested in mobile and geospatial applications.
